The Hotel Birger Jarl was the first hotel in Sweden to have its rooms designed by Swedish interior designers. Today, the hotel offers a superb range of individually designed rooms, all bearing the hallmark of contemporary Swedish form and design, combined with the highest standard or hotel functionality. Centrally located, the Hotel Birger Jarl has gone through an extensive renovation during the last few years. The whole hotel has been transformed and offers exciting new discoveries in every nook and cranny. Sources of inspiration in this process include Swedish tall, slender birch trees, the traditional cooper red paint of wooden houses and good old fashioned thoughtfulness and consideration with modern influences.
